Coca-Cola Enterprises decided that it was indeed time to start improving their efficiency. After conducting a benchmarking exercise against current competition, they decided that the best way was to outsource most of their transaction processing, in a low cost country. Coca-cola implemented a order-to-cash process with Capgemini. This process was implemented in all delivery locations and included master data, credit, accounts receivable,etc. They outsourced this implementation to Guatemala and India locations.
