Coca-Cola and Nestle` joint venture focused on the ready-to-drink tea category, and has expanded across Europe, Canada, and other markets. However, the two companies have agree to terminate their alliance in the United States to focus on the other countries in which they have expanded too. After careful consideration, Coca-Cola and Nestle` has realized that their joint venture is most effective in Europe and Canada, and has proven to have a greater acceleration rate than what the marker presence of the BPW (Beverage Partners Worldwide) was doing in the United States. Was this a good move for the joint venture?
